The shoe is really cute, however, I think they run pretty wide. So if your child has a narrow foot you may have to return them.

This is a very cute shoe and my daughter liked it a lot but it was much too wide. Even tried putting insoles in it but we just couldn't make it work out for us.

My 5 year old daughter picked this shoe out. She refused to wear the classic t strap Keds and this was still simple. She has a narrow foot and is able to pull the straps tight to make them fit properly. I would recommend this shoe.

My daughter has a slightly wide foot and these shoes fit her very comfortably. The shoes are girly-looking, not clunky, yet appropriate for gym class. She loves them and she is on her second pair.
