A Dangerous Decoration

I LOVE these slippers. They are the most comfortable I have ever had. However, I had to cut off the two side flaps -- which are mostly decorative -- because the satin "shoelaces" do not stay tied, even if you knot them many times. They come undone as you walk and I almost fell twice when I stepped on them unknowingly. They are sewn on as trim so cannot be replaced. I'll buy them again, but only because I don't care as much about how they look as how they feel. The company should redesign them.

I am a person that has foot problems and needs a comfortable house shoe. I will wear this slipper whenever I am home and for a quick dash to the mail box. As a disabled person I like to treat myself to extra cute slippers that make me smile.

I have worn Smart Dogs for the past 5+ years. I can never go to a different brand, they never compare to the comfort, craftsmanship or durability. I wear my slippers a lot! I'm a stay at home Mom so I'm home a lot and I'm never without them. I usually get one pair a year, that's how long they last! So, for the price, they are definately worth it. They never lose their cushion. The non-slip sole is awesome on my hardwood, ceramic tile and carpeted stairs. I feel very safe in them and they stay on your feet. I cannot say enough about how much I like these slippers! I purchased a pair for my daughter who is 11 and wears a size 6 womens shoe, she cooed about how comfortabe they are! My daughter and I have both had foot surgeries and it's hard to find things that are really comfortable, with stitching in the wrong places, etc. and these really are a dream.

The slipper is advertised as therapeutic but the reality is there is very little support in them.

I wanted to be kind to my feet for a change and this slipper is more than I expected. It seems to be about 1/4 inch too short for size. Width is adjustable. This slipper feels great and I would wear them all day if I could. Highly recommend!

Not What I Expected

I bought this slipper thinking it was the same as a pair of Smartdogs that I purchased a few years ago. The old ones were extremely comfy and even supportive. This new version, although it looks the same, does not have the same memory insole or arch support. When I walk in them, I tend to walk out of them. The quality is good and they look nice, but I will probably wear the old ones into the ground before using the new ones. I was disappointed.

I bought these because they can be washed. I found them to be a little bit narrow, but this style has a nice feature I didn't realize until they arrived: the tie on top is adjustable. You can make the slipper either tighter or looser depending on what you need. They are also very soft and comfortable.

After owning these slippers, you'll never own another brand. They are so comfortable and squishy. They also have a rubber sole, so they can be worn outside which is a plus.
