Inside sole is a bit hard, though I suppose that's that style of the shoe. Otherwise, very comfortable and the high tread/outer sole gives me a bit of welcome height. Good shoe--I'll buy it again.
Wears this shoe: Daily. Not good for very dressy--good with jeans.

I've always been happy with New Balance shoes, but lately have had a bunion problem on my left foot. Always wore "normal" width shoes and finally decided to measure my feet after ages of unmeasured buying and lo and behold, it turned out that I edged into the realm of a "wide" size shoe. I took a chance and bought this NB pair and the difference in comfort was immediately apparent. Can't believe I was destroying my own feet for so long. The shoes look great, feel great, and seem quite "breathable" for feet as well. 100% satisfied, and a great deal from Shoebuy too.
Wears this shoe: Every day, whenever I go out.

Lightweight, airy, good stability and cushioning. Just about everything I want in a running shoe. The colors are just a bonus. With winter coming they might be a bit too airy.

The MR873 is very light weight shoe and the reinforced toe helps with the rocks. I wish NB had used abzorb-ex instead of the plain abzorb as it wears out quicker.

I have used this shoe for about 3 weeks, mainly for climbing and hiking on trails (it was fine in walking on paved paths too). The tread provided an excellent grip, and the sturdiness of the bottom did indeed make walking on jagged rocks easy. It's very comfortable, and the ability to pull the lace loops up adds to its support for the arch. It was great to wear in hot weather because of the upper material is airy, but this may make it less conducive to use in cold weather.

It felt slightly larger probably because the uppers are so thin. However, the N-lock shoe lace hold your feet tightly in place. Just be careful not to over tighten them, I bruised my ankles on the first trip.

Great Airy Shoe

Though I can see the mesh holes, the dirt doesn't go through. Surprising! The airiness, lightness, and support are great. The only issue I have is that the tall plastic toe guard in front "flops/springs" with the top mesh portion as you're running/walking. So get the CORRECT true size (not .5 larger) to have less annoyance! If the toe guard was less vertical, it'd likely solve this "flop" issue. Because of the flop, I give this otherwise perfect shoe 4 stars.
