I got this shoe for my son. He tends to drag his toes a bit, rips up sneakers (running shoes) in less than a month. This is his second pair of Moab Merrells, the first pair is still in decent shape after three months. Excellent shoe that gives him the support he needs, a nice look - better than running shoes - and durable.

They are a tiny bit too small- may be a quarter size, but over time they will probably stretch out a bit.I am pleased with the shoes.They are comfortable and appear to be of good quality.

My opinion on the Merrell Moab Ventilator

The Merrell Moab Ventilator is a great shoe. It is very lightweight easy to wear and the color scheme gives it a classy appeal. The shoe is a bit bigger than my other size eight footwear but I love how it fits none-the-less. It offers a unique presentation for a tennis shoe unlike the usual brand names, it has excellent sole traction with a very unique design. As far as I'm aware Merrell makes very durable footwear so I decided to buy a pair to judge for myself. The laces are made of bungy type material, they are very easy to tie but they also easily come loose by themselves so it requires a double knot. I am mostly pleased with my tennis shoe and wear it quite a lot.
Wears this shoe: I wear my shoe to work when strolling and whenever I go out to informal events.

Great hiking shoe

Light and very comfortable. Breathable so they are great for hot climate hiking. May not be very good in wet areas. I usually wear a Wide but the Regular width fit just fine. I tried the Wide and it was too wide.

I purchased these shoes for summer hiking, and I love them! My feet are much more comfortable during summer hikes while wearing these shoes. I have hiked about 75-80 miles while wearing these shoes since I purchased them about 45 days ago, and I highly recommend them. The Vibram soles are very durable and provide wonderful grip.
