I was worried about this design, but I love it now. The heel-end collar is very comfortable, the inserts are great and the laces are great too.

Dr, Martin stopped making the shoe I like, but this is a good alternative. It's heavy, but I like that, it's a good walking shoe in the city.

Love the shoe, looks good with jeans or with business casual attire for work. Love the padding, makes it much more comfortable than my last Dr.Marten shoe (which was only a 4 eye)

I bought these shoes because i've always loved doc's. i have always looked for the ones with the thickest sole and these are the best ones yet! The only thing i didn't realize until i got them was that the toe is squared off a bit more than i could tell from the pic. They still look good though!

This pair is probably the best pairs of shoe I have ever had. Kind of pricey, but it is a GREAT fit! How do they get the sole to look like a gelatin dessert?

PROS- comfortable, no break in required, great price at shoebuy.comCONS- kind of an odd appearance for an oxford type shoe as the lacing goes almost down to the toe; this makes your feet look small, laces like a boot

I like this shoe because it doesn't feel clunky at all the way some Dr Martens do. Is comfortable and looks a lot nicer in person than it does in the picture.
