Lace issue September 17, 2009

This shoe was great for our 6 year old son. The laces look like "real" sneakers, and the velcro top allowed our son to slip in and out of these shoes w/o tying them. The feel of the shoe was tight and snug. The problem occurred when the "faux lace" snapped on the third day of purchase. My husband actually sewed the lace back into place in order to avoid the issue of a return nightmare (plus our son loved the shoes!). We never contacted the company, but I was disappointed in the quality.

I bought these for our daughter to wear with her uniform at school. She said they are very comfortable. She enjoys wearing them everyday.

I purchased 2 pairs of the white K-Swiss for my twins to play tennis in this summer. They have to wear them all day at camp, and the shoes have worked out great - no one has complained of blisters. I'm completely satisfied!

Great for kids who haven't learned to tie shoes June 17, 2009

Shoes that tie are a thing of the past - with velcro, laces never come untied (to be tripped on or to get dirty) - fostering independence for a young child and acting as a time-saver for a busy mom. I like the clean lines of the shoe - classic - which is difficult to find in abundance in today's marketplace.I have washed the shoes in the washer and they have persevered. (Air dried them.) This is our 3rd pair - because of growing feet, not because they have worn out. We've passed the previous shoes on to younger cousins. As long as the appropriate size is available, I will continue buying.
Wears this shoe: any time there is running, jumping, or sneaking....

These are the only shoes my 5 year old will wear. He does not know how to tie his shoes yet and feels confident that he can put these on and off without a problem (and they still have the look of laces). These are a great option for those who want to get away from the typical velcro tennis shoe. Also they do not come up too high on the ankle, which is better for comfort on little feet

I couldn't tell by the picture, but the laces don't tie/untie. They are made of elastic and stretch. You just slip them on. My son doesn't like them and I could only talk him into wearing them a few times.

My son is eleven and is the typical pre-teen and doesn't bother tying his shoes whne they become untied. These have laces but are stretchy so the child can slip their foot right into the shoe. The black color is sweet too because they don't get dirty as soon.
