All purpose hikers

I keep coming back to this shoe because it offers me exactly what I'm looking for: good fit, durability, and versatility. This is an all-weather, all-season boot for me. I use it for hiking during the summer and in the winter it is my winter boot for my long walking commute between work and home. The grip on the sole is excellent on ice and the tall uppers keep my ankles warm. I've had problems before in getting boots that fit my feet well because I have a narrow heel and a wider foot. If I could re-design them just slightly I would make them wider across the ball of the foot and make the toe more round rather than pointed, the better to give the toes some room. Other than that, I'm very pleased with this boot.

I bought this shoe because Lowa wasn't making the lightweight hiking boot that I bought the previous year. I loved those Lowas so much that I wanted another pair. I bought the closest I could find.

Well made. A little too large, but thicker socks may fix that. Or a foam insert. I needed the length but toe box felt very roomy.Shoe is a little heavy, but it's supposed to withstand hiking. I just bought them for snowy weather.

This is probably my fourth pair of Lowa boots. It's a lightweight, sturdy, comfortable, all-season walking boot. It's waterproof, offers good traction, and both the uppers and soles wear well. I commute 3 miles a day on foot or kick-scooter. These boots are up to the job. And the laces never fray or break!

I wanted a boot that would be useful in all weather conditions and this LOWA boot fills that need. It's goretex membrane really keeps my feet dry and comfortable. The light weight makes it ideal for long hikes.
Wears this shoe: i like ti wear it for hiking off road and for errands in town.

I have moved to a rural area with four seasons and I needed a light but sturdy boot - this one is just that! They also look good. Did not require any break in.

So far I am very pleased with the boots. They are very comfortable, but I have only worn them around the house to try to break them in. I think they will be great on long hikes.

This is my second pair of these boots. The others lasted about seven years. I loved them so I bought another pair. My feet stayed dry, they fit well, and they got me up mountains and over rocks.

These are the best boots to get for all weather wear. It keeps your feet dry throughout anything mother nature can dish at you. Take it from me! I need boots for all weather working outside. Not only did it withstand the weather, but it also took my abuse. I can easily go through most shoes within 3 months with the walking I do; however, the tredding is fantastic with these boots. I highly highly recommend. VERY COMFORTABLE!

In the past, I've had trouble finding a comfortable hiking boot. This was very comfortable right out of the box. Highly recommend.
