The shoe looked small, and when my child tried it on she didn't complain but came back from the first day of wearing them literally tipping because they hurt so badly. I should have returned them but she did wear them an entire day. I'll never buy them again.

The shoe has been ok, but I am disappointed in the fact that being a black shoe, all the loose white strings that are appearing on them is distracting. The edges are fraying badly and they have not been worn much. I will not be purchasing any more of these shoes. The up side of the shoe is that our son likes the ease of putting them on.

I bought this for my youngest boy. He likes them because there is no fumbling with laces when rushing out the door. (My husband and I like that too.) It fits him perfectly and it must be comfortable because sometimes he doesn't even take them off in the house and just wears them until he gets ready for bed (shower, etc.) He loves them.

I purchased these shoes for a Christmas gift for my grandson. By the middle of February, the sole became separated from the upper leather part of the shoe. This was true of both shoes. I was embarrassed that this had happened but I liked the look of the shoe and the velcro closures rather than the tie, so I ordered another pair a half size bigger. The jury is still out. He started to wear them two weeks ago and now we will see how long they last this time. Hopefully, they will last through the summer.

Great for winter, my son has to wear black sneakers at school and with the extra steps of winter boots the velcro sneakers make morning and getting ready for afternoon bus home much easier.

I purchased these shoes for my son who has difficulty with shoes laces. First of all, I was happy about the choices offered for Velcro shoes (I do have to learn to navigate their filtering options to find what I want a little faster). The shoe arrived surprisingly fast. I was encoraged to try to try out this shoe by the fact that these folks include the shipping cost (both ways) in the price of their shoes... and their price seems competitive. This was only my first experience...Albeit a happy one.

The shoe on the website was noted as wide. When I received the shoe it did not have any marking that said it was a wide shoe. My 11 year old has a very wide foot and can not wear a standard shoe. It hurts his feet. So I was worried. When he tried them on and ever since he has said they are very comfortable. I bought this shoe specifically because the website said it was a wide shoe.

Love the velcro. It helps my son take off the shoes quickly on and off at school, where teachers can't always help tie shoes. I love the wide width. It's roomy for my son's feet and has good traction too.
