Great Shoes

These shoes feel great. It has a classic/classy look with amazing comfort. It feels like the cushioning adds a bit of bounce to your step which really reduces foot fatigue from standing and walking short distances throughout the day.

The shoe is very comfortable, but the outer sole literally disintegrated. I've never had a shoe sole fall apart like this shoe!

This is my tenth pair of this shoe in the last 15 years. I am on my feet approximately ten hours a day on hard surface, and its the only shoe that will give me comfort, whith this use. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I have worn these shoes daily outside now for ten years except for specialist leisure or formal events. They have a pleasant, low-key appearance and their beauty lies in the fact that they are light to wear, very healthy for the foot because they strongly support the arch and are really comfortable. In short they are a very functional, well-made product needing little care that entirely meet needs of health, comfort, convenience and reasonable aesthestics. When new, the laces tend to come undone a little too easily initially but I cannot think of any other criticism:-)!

I love this style of shoe and always have a new pair ready in waiting. The metal shoe eyelets are attached improperly so that they separate from the shoe and float freely on the laces. I've purchased at least 10 pair of this shoe over the past 12 years, and this was my first experience with this kind of shoddy assembly.

Great shoe for excellent comfort and durability. Ecco makes a great shoe that you can walk miles in and enjoy. After trying other brands and feeling fatigued and discomfort after a long day, it is great to again wear these shoes.

This is my father's 3rd pair of ECCO Cross shoes. His first pair (cream/neutral) lasted forever, until - after re-gluing of soles to the body and minor repairs twice - we forced him to pitch them. Pair 2 - black - was all we could find (on ShoeBuy) to replace his beloved supporting Cross shoes, and so we just purchased a third pair - brown - since we couldn't find a cream again. At least dad (who is 90) can trade off during the winter, but come next summer, we'll be looking again for the wonderful cream version.Fit is wonderful - support is perfect - and the lightness is just what the doc ordered. Couldn't be better, except for more colors. Thanks.

Best caual; shoe ever made!

I was delighted to find this shoe still available through Shoebuy. Bought my first pair about ten years ago and wore them until they had to be cut off after a bad car wreck. Tried to duplicate their comfort with other brands -- nothing came close at all, at any price point. And the new ECCO styles just didn't interest me as much, since this one was proven. Still fits great, still feels great, still looks great -- I've had several people ask me about them in just the first couple of weeks I've had the new pair. Granted, they are a bit pricey, but worth every penny -- especially when you walk as much as I do. The insoles almost propel you forward. And even after trudging many, many miles through Chicago (where I lived at the time), two treks through France and one through Britain, this shoe still looked fresh, so I consider them a true value.

These are worth the extra dollars. Previously, almost every night after work my feet would hurt, I was always between a 9 and 9 1/2 and I've discovered a Euro 43 is the best fit I've ever had. This is far and away the most comfortable, well-made shoe I've ever worn, period. Break in period: Approximately 12 seconds, and I am completely satisfied. Ecco has earned a repeating customer. They are simply fabulous.

I bought these shoes because my wife wears, and swears by them. I ordered the first pair, they were shipped and received when they said they would come. When I received them I tried them on. They were the size I wear, but were to tight. I needed the next size up. Foreign sizes must differ. I received the right size. I love them, they fit perfectlly and will get Ecco shoes again. This time I will know the right size.

Four Times 6414

I have Peripheral Artery Disease and most shoes hurt my feet. About four or five years ago I wandered into a shoe store and tried on several shoes until a 6414 was presented and it felt right. I have since purchased 3 additional 6414's. Flexibility is the key, but they also provide plenty of support. I applied a neutral waterproofing wax polish before I wear them. I have gotten them very wet and when they dry it is impossible to tell that they were ever wet. My original pair is pretty well gone but pair number 2 is still going strong. I bought pairs 3 and 4 because I was afraid they might not be available forever. Thanks to ECCO, Shoebuy and that shoe store in Missouri.
