A Great boot. I was looking for a good work boot. They would be a bit better if they were more waterproof, however, waterproofing spray has worked just fine. This boot is comfortable for long days on your feet.
Wears this shoe: I use them for landscaping in Colorado.

I have another pair of these shoes that I love. They are true to size and well made. I generally get over a year of near daily wear, even when I was doing outside sales.

The moment I put these boots on I knew they were for me from the point of view of fit, comfort, and looks. The only drawback is that they are not waterproof, which I why they don't get 5 stars from me.

I'm disabled and have nerve damage that affects my feet. I have to be very picky about my shoes. I am VERY pleased with the quality of these Hi-Tek shoes. They are very comfortable with a great sole, they are made well and fit exactly like they should. I can walk well (as well as possible) in these shoes. The high top just makes the fit all the more comfortable. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who wants a comfortable shoe without spending a fortune.

Found the Outlander to be quite comfortable and of good quality for the price...a real bargain! I owned some Hi-Tec's for 15 years and was very happy with them until they finally wore out. So if these last another 15 years, I'm set for life!

I have worn this model of Hi-Tec boot for several years, so I feel comfortable ordering online. I like it because it accomodates my orthotic insoles which keep plantar faciitis at bay, and it doesn't look too clunky. This actual pair of shoes is a slightly different model than my last 3 pairs; the sole design is different. Otherwise, it doesn't seem much different...maybe possibly a tad tighter, for some reason. I wear these shoes every day of the year, all day, and I'm on my feet a lot. I'm sorry Hi-Tec is [or seems to be] closing out this model.

These are my favorite casual shoes; they are as comfortable as a tennis shoe, but sturdy like a hiking boot. They wear well, last a long time, and are comfortable.

I like these new boots, but they rub a bit on the sides. I have a pair of brown Hi-Techs that I've had for almost two years. The quality seems to be better.

I think the shoe looked great, and generally felt great. But it seemed pretty small. I normally wear size 5, and euro size 35, but I noticed on the shoe that it says size 5, euro size 34. They fit lengthwise, but felt really narrow, and I have pretty narrow feet. I figure that since I'll be hiking and working in these boots, I should get a half size up so my feet have room to expand.

This is a very adequate boot, very warm. Unfortunately, it is not as much to my taste in appearance as it looked online. It also does not have enough traction for our icy Maine winters. However, I suspect that many other people would like it. It's a matter of taste.
