These are comfortable shoes. They were a bit stiff in the beginning but the straps loosened up quickly.

This is my second pair of Milano soft bed. I ordered the first pair because I had been having severe heel pain and was desperately trying anything and everything to make my feet feel better. My feet were already in such pain, I couldn't face the break-in period and paid for the soft-bed. Very much worth it - I'll never go back! My only "complaint" is that this shoe is not available in different colors in my size.

I looked at a lot of shoes before a I found these. They fit well and my feet don't feel as they are in boats.

Extremely comfortable. My slightly narrow foot usually has to settle for a medium width so when I find a narrow in my size size it's a rare find.

I'm glad to inform you that I purchased the sandals from Shoebuy. I saved a lot of money on them and used their sizing chart to get the right fit. I had a pair of these before and simply loved them, these sandals are the best I ever owned!

I have worn Birkenstock Milano Nubuck's for about 10 years (on about my 5th pair). When I saw the new softbed while ordering, I figured I would give them a shot. Wow, what a great addition. It adds a soft felt type feel to the bottom of your feet in addition to the already great Birkenstock wear/feel.

I started wearing Birkenstocks due to numerous foot problems due to being on my feet 10 hours a day. The support of the soft Birkenstock footbed helped with the pain, in the past I purchased the Florida style made just for women, the Milano is a unisex shoe and feels larger and wider in the same size of the Florida style.

After listening to others rave about their Birkenstocks, I finally bought a pair and absolutely love them. I do have a problem though. The soft footbed has absorbed so much perspiration that I am embarrassed to wear them in public. Does anyone know of a way to clean them to remove the smelly-sweat odor? I do NOT want to throw them away!

I put these sandals on, adjusted the straps and wear and enjoy them at least 4 days per week. They are the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned.
