Reviewer: Earle from Brooklyn, NY Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width This is a great hiking shoe. I actually bought a pair last year, and loved it so much that I bought a second pair so I could leave one pair at my country cottage all year round. I wear this shoe all winter, in snow, in rain. It is waterproof, and incredibly well made. I highly recommend it. Wears this shoe: All year round. Hiking, or just walking in New York City. Canada Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I bought the shoes for comfort and long wearability. The last pair lasted at least 4 years of almost daily use. Wears this shoe: Almost all the time in the house and garden and walking Reviewer: Rachel K. from Chicago, IL Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Light weight , stable, all weather shoe that I expect to last a long time. I needed a winter shoe for long morning walks in cold and/or snow and this will certainly fit the bill. Not clunky either, just really comfortable and fun to wear. Wears this shoe: Long walks, 2 hrs. or more, all weather 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful: Reviewer: North Carolina Lady from Greensboro, NC Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I bought these shoes for a walking/hiking type trip. I am in the process of breaking them in and find them very comfortable from the start. I've had foot surgery and need a shoe with a thick sole for all day walking, in other words, I need more than a tennis shoe. I've had a pair of Lowa hiking boots for 10 years and hiked all over the world in them. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own, that's why I bought these. I think they will fit the bill. Wears this shoe: Walking for a couple of miles in parks and hiking paths. Reviewer: DH from Minneapolis, MN Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Extremely comfortable hiking boot with a good traction sole. Very light weight and easy to wear. Wears this shoe: hiking, weekends, winter 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: Reviewer: Christine from Southcentral Texas Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width These are my second pair of Lowa hikers. My last pair lasted me almost 7 years (don't remember the name of them). This new pair is wonderful. I've worn them to work and they were light and comfortable. I just wear tested them on 4 miles of trail at Caprock Canyon State Park, Quitaque TX. The trail consisted of sand and riverlets on the canyon floor and rocks/boulders going up the cliff. Not once did they slip. I trusted the shoes completely. They are the grippiest hiking shoes I've ever worn. These Lowas out-performed my Asolo backpacking boots. The quality and look of these Renegades are top-notch. They do tend to run about a half size larger than what you would normally wear. Also, I wear a thicker hiking sock so the width felt perfect for me. After 4.5 miles I did not have one blister. Wears this shoe: Some times to work but mostly on day hikes. Reviewer: Anonymous from Las Vegas. NV Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width This is very light for hiking shoe. Hasegawa from Honolulu, Hawaii Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Lowa consumers need to know to order 1/2 smaller than regular shoe size; I always wear 7.5, but always a 7 if it's Lowa. They know what they're doing and they are consistent. Lowa allows room for hiking style socks, and plenty of toe room for the long downhill hauls. I expect no break in time as in the past with other Lowa boots. I'll be hiking on Hawai'i island for two weeks about mid January. This particular model is more expensive than the Lady Lo, but it's easier to lace and unlace and wraps around the instep part of my foot much more snugly. Reviewer: Lenka - love outdoors from Seattle,Wa Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I love Lowa shoes. My last pair lasted 5 full years! I took them hiking, walking, working - you name it. I just wanted to find the closest match in a good color and got it. It feels just like my old pair, well better since they are new. Thank you for all the choices. Wears this shoe: hiking, walking, chores, work. A lot! Viewing reviews 1 - 10 of 10 Return to product detail page
