It's good to find a low heeled shoe that can be worn with skirts and dresses as well as slacks.

I bought this initially in a 5M, which is generally what I wear in all shoes, although my one foot is slightly smaller. The 5 was way too tight in both feet, so I exchanged for a 5.5 but they were too big. oh well. you have to love shoebuy's return & exchange policies though, they are definitely worth it!

I typically take A 5M in just about every shoe & my left foot is actually more like A 4.5 so I am used to my left shoe feeling a little big...However, these felt tight on both feet, wish I had read the reviews since I see I'm not alone. I'm exchanging for A 5.5 to see if it works better. I agree w/others that I'm not sure if it is length or width-almost as if my instep was pushing up against the front of the shoe.

Feet swimming

I love the color (metallic ember) of the shoe and the cute style. It's unfortunate that I wore it once, otherwise I would return it. When I walk, it gapes all around my foot because it's too wide. Also, there's not much arch support, if that's an issue for you.

I wanted a semi-casual shoe that I could wear either with a skirt or pants. This shoe is very comfortable and feels quite true to width everywhere but around the arch of the foot, where it seems wider (and is definitely less supportive). I am still able to wear my orthotic in this shoe, but the shoe does fit rather low on the arch.

I am an 8W but these shoes just were not comfortable for me. I can't figure out if it was the width or the length, but my toes did not have enough room and even hit the front of the shoe but they were not tight in the back. It is a puzzle. The nicely padded inside did not really help. Also, I bought them in copper and the color is a little metallic and slightly reddish - pretty but did not match my pants, I am looking for a basic dark brown shoe.

I like the stylish look of the shoe but when I tried it on it felt very narrow across the toes. The heel and middle of the shoe are wide enough, but it seems to get narrower at the top (where I need the width the most!) I am wearing them anyway hoping they will stretch. I guess we will see.

I can either wear a medium width or a wide width shoe depending on the style of the shoe. These, however, even in the wide width were too narrow. Which was a real shame because they are really adorable and seem really well made.

Sofft Merina is a lovely shoe with the nicest attention to detail...Including a floral pattern on the sole of the shoe. While I was very please with the appearance and the quality of the shoe, the toe box is tight. I purchase most of my shoes online and am an easy fit (7M), but this one is not quite as comfortable as most similar styles.

I've been wearing these shoes for over a week now and am very pleased with them. I experienced absolutely no break-in period with super comfort from the very beginning. The shoes have nice detailing with floral designs on the sole and lining. First pair of Sofft shoes for me but certainly not the last.

The cut of the shoe is what I expected. The leather for the shoe however is not soft (As the name may imply) and the shoes hurt my feet at the end of the day. I teach school and am on my feet 7 or 8 hours each day so I want to buy shoes that are comfortable all day. The heels are wider than most narrow width shoes and rubbed a blister the first time I wore them. Since then I wear bandaids on my heels and that has taken care of the problem. The arch supports are quite comfortable. Hopefully with time the shoe will soften up and be more comfortable.

This shoe is adorable and fits great in the toe/bunion area. However, the heel is a little too wide, causing slipping. The leather is truly soft and I find it a comfortable shoe to wear while on my feet most of the day.
