Having a small foot brings large problems in shopping. 5 1/2 is just not available any longer it seems. This particular sneaker is larger than a normal 5 1/2.

I thought that my foot required a wide shoe because some of my medium are too tight. I think I should have bought the medium but the quality of the shoe is excellent.

I particularly like this shoe because it is one of the only "slip-ons" that will accomodate my orthotic inserts. I am retired and this shoe is great for wearing around the house in warm weather seasons. I like the fact that dirt wipes off easily. They are washable but I have never needed to wash mine.

Keds Champion Leather Slip On

I searched locally for a leather slip on Keds shoe and was unable to find any yet alone the style that I wanted. I then found this slip on on Shoebuy. It is not the exact shoe I wanted but I ordered it and received it in a very timely manner. I am not thrilled with the shoe because it gaps around the top near the side of the ankle when you walk. The old pair that I wanted to replace did not do that. They have a blue band around the top near the ankle. The quality is good and it fits fine except for the gap when you walk.

The sneaker is easy to put on and remove and is most comfortable. I think it is a great sneaker, however, this time I found that the sole of the shoe is not as thick as I would like. I've inserted a pad for the sole and it is perfect.

As far as the Keds white leather Champions, a great big disappointment! After over 20 years of buying these shoes because they are a great summer casual shoe, they are no longer washable which is one of the reasons that I have continued to buy them, (I love the way they look too) but no more! What gives Keds company??

I usually like slip on shoes with the wide width for some times my feet swell and they still fit without hurting my toes.

These shoes are very comfortable and the terry lining keeps your feet cool. It was great to find a shoe like this in a narrow fitting as all the local stores start with medium widths.
