Boot not as expected

I've used Tingley boots in the past and were the best I've used. I thought great I can get Tingley again, but I was dissapointed, although it was a similar boot, I guess economics have played a role and the boot wasn't as good as before. For one thing in the past the boots were lined with cloth which made it easier to slip on and off, now it's a struggle especially if my feet have sweat a bit and my socks are damp, I've had my socks pulled off while trying to remove the boot. Secondly it's not as comfortable as it use to be, although the rubber is pliable and soft it just doesn't feel right, and my heel spurs are affected, don't know if they changed the design or thickness and softness of the soles.

Can't Beat Them

I've been buying Tingley boots for more than 30 years. I bought my last pair of these brown chore boots years ago and finally wore a big enough hole in one of them so my foot got wet in the morning dew. These boots fit me great with a pair of my regular cotton socks. They have changed since I last bought them. I suppose they are tougher now, but I am one to leave things alone that work already. I'm wondering if I should buy another pair now for when these wear out later. It is well worth paying more for boots that fit. I just ordered the same size I already had and they fit the same.

Shoe is as advertised. Excellent quality! Only thing is that it is a size too big. Recommend that you get a full size smaller than what you really wear. I just use them for those rainy work days & if its wet & or raining when I am out & about doing errands or anything.
Wears this shoe: I wear the boots on rainy days on my way to work or anywhere it is wet.

PVC Knee boot

It seems a little narrow in the calf, but I do have that problem with other boots as well. It is great for waterproof work, but since it is unlined, it can get cold. It's a nice high boot, good for tall grass and wading in the creek, it keeps my pants dry.
Wears this shoe: On my farm, especially after it rains.
Easy return policy

These boots are great except that they run large so I had to return and reorder a smaller size. The company's return policy makes it easy to return. I'd buy them again. Am very satisfied with the quality.

Comfortable protection

They seem to have good arch support - I haven't really looked but my feet feel fine even after that extended wear. Also, I have largish calves and these fit fine.

I'm a Civil Engineer. These are great boots for walking in wet or muddy conditions. I keep them in my car for when I visit construction or potential development sites. Good for wading creeks.
