Really nice shoes, can be worn casual or with a more formal fit. Fit HUGE so be warned. I'm normally a size 10.5 - 11 in all my other shoes but wear a 9.5 in these.

I have always liked the Chukka boots by that and other names. Until a friend of mine recommended your website, I had not been able to find them. I do wish the Chukka came in a lighter gray.

I owned this shoe years ago and purchased this pair in part for nostalgia, but also the quality of Clarks that I remember. I got the shoe in Beeswax and really like the look. The leather isn't as supple as I remember, perhaps because it's not the split leather I had before. The shoes are comfortable, but will take some breaking in, which I wasn't expecting. Also, the insole is not nearly as cushioned as I expected and arch support leaves a lot to be desired. A gel insert purchase is on the horizon - that should help.
Wears this shoe: Casual wear with jeans or nicer slacks or cords.

Shoes are comfortable and felt true to size - however I have wide feet and ordered half a size up which fit perfectly in the width but are a bit long for me. The lacing system (only 2 eyelets) means that it's impossible to lace it tight enough to keep your heels in the shoe, but this isn't really a huge issue for me as I prefer my shoes a bit looser.Shoes look great with jeans - I thought it would be possible to try it with business wear but it's a bit too casual for that.

Love this shoe. It looks very sleek, and if you get it in black it's neutral enough to be worn with just about anything. The shoes take a few days to break in, so they weren't too easy on the feet the first couple of times I wore them, but that's to be expected. Awesome shoe. Be sure to get some waterproofer though.
Wears this shoe: Whenever, it's a casual shoe.

I bought this shoe for a friend after being unable to stand his bad sartorial choices for the better part of six months, during which his only pair of presentable shoes went missing. I only bought him one pair of shoes. These are it. They are, according to him, extremely comfortable and, according to me, extremely nice looking.

I have been looking for a pair of desert boots like I used to buy at the shoe store over 40 years ago for quite a while. These are exactly what I hd been looking for. Just trying them on took me back to 1966 when I was in 9th grade. I was not aware that Clark's made the original Desert Boots, but now that I know it, I will only replace these with Clark's. The size seems to be right on the money. I am extremely happy with these shoes. This is my third purchase but definitely not my last.

These boots are great! Very comfortable and is a timeless classic. Gives a very sophisticated look - whether worn with a pair of jeans or khakis.
