This is my second pair of Schoodic's...I bought the other pair three years ago at Annapolis Boat Show. I wear them all of the time...They are great on my sailboat, but also GREAT all the time, day to day..Other brand boat shoes are not up to par any more..(made in China) leather thin...These are made in Dominican Republic, of very good leather, of Sebago standards...Great shoes..I also bought the "Schooner" shoe at the same time, also great shoes..I am paticular about my boat shoes. Have been wearing them for more that twenty years..I used to buy the OTHER brand..but not anymore.. You won't go wrong..

For about 20 years I wore Sebago Schooner deck shoes, size 11W. very comfortable. It is my understanding thet Wolverine Worldwide bought out Sebago and changed the sizing downward, eg, wide (W) became medium. Hence, in order to get the necessary wide shoe I ordered an 11WW. Lenfth is fine but even the extra wide (WW) is uncomfortably tight. I wish Sebago still managed and manufactured Sebago shoes.
Wears this shoe: On casual occasions only now. I used to live in my Sebago deck shoes.

This shoe is truly a class act. Great casual shoe that can also be worn for dress. Well made, and super comfortable. I'm not sure where the "Burnt Ivory" color description came from, but it is rich and stylish. What a great shoe for the money. I commend Sebago for making a great shoe, and Shoebuy.com for their great prices and service.

This is the second pair of these. The size both length and width are perfect. I will wear these as a casual dress shoe in the spring and fall. I will also were them if I need to dress up a little during the summer. But during the summer I wear sandals or go bare footed. My old pair will also go on my sailboat. These are the best boat shoes I've owned.

Disparity in sizes and widths

It seems like since most shoes are now made in several foreign countries, there is no standardization as to "true" size fits. Almost all are "smaller" in size (length, width or both) and this makes it difficult to buy "on-line". I have had to return several Boat style shoes for this reason.

This is my 6th pair of Sebagos. Nice quality and great style. Bought the last 5 from ShoeBuy. Unequalled service and they always have what I want.I wear these Schoodics almost daily and generally get about 2 years out of each pair. They'd probably last longer, but by the end of 2-years I'm ready for a new pair anyway.Great with jeans, khakis & shorts. They do stretch a bit over time, so I buy them a 1/2 size small. Tight at first that way, but within a couple of weeks of break-in they'll feel great.

I bought a pair a year ago and wanted another pair in a different color. Size 10.5 EW width a year ago. This new pair, I ended up with a size 11 EW. They feel much narrower than the pair from a year ago, but they are gradually stretching out. I really love the Sebago brand. Great Quality.
