I like Skechers shoes to begin with. These fit well, feel very solid and comfortable and are well-finished. I bought them as a motorcycle riding shoe and found that they are a little thick in the front for shifting comfortably.

This is a nice boot that can be used for casual or work or biking as I intended them to be used for! They are my third pair as I think this is a value in boots of this nature! Nice oily finish that can be touched up with a boot cream if desired! Nice fit and finish and they lasted me 3 years of use winter and summer!

The shoe fits well and is also comfortable. I only wish they were a little more supportive in the ankle but otherwise it is a great shoe.

I've used Skechers before as work boots and they hold up and are comfortable. My only gripe is that it's taking a while to break in, perhaps because it feels a little bigger then actual listing size. However, the shoe is crafted very well and looks as if it will hold up like the previous pairs of Skechers I've purchased.

I have worn many different work boots, whose brand names imply that they are ready for the punishment of being worn for WORK. I own a pair of the Skechers Mariner Pilots now,that I must say at first was very skeptical of buying. Skechers sounded like some kind of shoe my kids would wear. That was 2 years ago and I'm still wearing the same ones. So I figured it was time to order another pair of these outstanding boots,although I haven't thrown out my old ones and still wear them daily. A bit of advice to anyone considering buying these boots. Keep them clean and waterproofed and they'll treat you right.

Previous to this boot I have owned 2 pairs of Skechers. It's a very similar boot except this Pilot has a thicker sole. It's breaking in quickly.

I bought a pair of these shoes almost a year ago on December 3,2007. was disappointed with the fit,they were a half size too big. I have to tell you that these are some of best work shoes I've ever purchased in my lifetime and I'm 50 yrs old. I'm a truck driver.These shoes have been through the daily grind along with rain,sleet and snow up here in Michigan. The upper wear is outstanding,they still look and feel like they'll last another year. No loose stitching,cracking or other shoddy workmanship. The soles have worn perfectly and hold the original tread without defects or leaks. The eyelets are perfect and even the strings are great yet. apply mink oil to them during Winter. would highly recommend these shoes to any buyer who appreciates lasting quality like in the old days. he price is right also.
