Dr Martens have always been a great wearing boot. I like these work boots so much I wear them almost everywhere. They feel more like a shoe than boot. Great quality at a great price.

I like that the toe box is wide enough with the steel toe to give my pinky toe room they do not pinch at all. The arch support is great the only thing is that they are a little bit heavy. But that I can live with. I have tried other brands and this one is by far the best for work.

I bought these for my son who is a welder so is on his feet for long periods. They fit him well right out of the box with the exception of the heel being a little tight, but this should not be a problem after he wears them a while. He loves the boots.

Great Boots

I'm really liking this boot. The only thing I dislike is the width, but I have wide feet and my little toe gets a little sore. Once they break in I'm sure it'll be fine. I bought these boots because I knew Doc Martens had a great reputation for boots. I'm on my feet most of the day on a concrete floor, so I need a sturdy shoe.

My husband normally wears a size 15 shoe, but prefers a size smaller boot. As far as the width, he complained they were a little tight at the heel. It took about two weeks to break them in. This is the second time we've purchased this boot and as alway we feel it was a great buy!!!

I bought this boot because I work on concrete all day long and read other reviews of the same boot used in similar situations. The boot lives up to my expectations in every way except that it is going to take a bit more time to break it in and get it streched to the fit I like.

I have been buying Dr. Martens for years.They are the best fitting and most comfortable workboot I have found.Their durability is also equal to any other shoe out there. I'm very happy with Dr. Martens and will continue to buy them for years to come.

I've always liked Doc Marten boots for regular wear because they looked cool, came in an array of differant styles, and most important, they lasted a hell of a lot longer than my other boots and were also amazingly comfortable and light weight as soon as I put them on. Usually other boots need to be broken in until they were comfy but not Docs. If you get the right size, they'll be comfy the first day of use. A while ago, it was hard to find Docs with the steel toe so I couldn't wear them at work. I discovered Doc Martens industrial line. I bought a style slightly different from the 8855IGZ and they lasted 5 years! I'm really hard on my boots and other brands would only last about a year or two, max. If im paying $100+ on boots, I would like them to last longer than that. The reason I had to buy another pair is because the harsh conditions the boots are in, I wore a couple holes in the leather uppers and they started to dry rot, but that was after about 5 years use and there was still plenty of sole left. I chose this model because they look a little more rugged, have a slightly higher ankle, eletrical hazard safety sole and I wanted a differant look after 5 years of the same thing. I don't really have any dislikes on the ones I just bought except these seem wider, but I have a long skinny foot so I'm used to that and it's not bad so I'm keeping these Docs.
