These shoes are comfortable, I ordered ex-wide thoughand still seem maby a little tight. I do alot of workwith a dolly and run up and down a ramp all day. These shoes would be great for a more stationary or minimal walking condition.

I love my new hikers! I work with machinery that has oil, grease, and plastic shavings on the floor sometimes, and if it's not cleaned up correctly you can slip. I bought these hikers for that reason that they're "slip resistant," and maybe for their comfort and looks as well. These are great shoes!

These really are great boots for those pounding concrete all day, 12 hrs+ a day. This is my second pair (the first just finally split around the steel toe due to my wide load feet), but these boots are awesome. They have unparalleled slip resistance on virtually any surface. I just have super wide feet, so my big toe on both feet rub on the cup for the steel toe portion (no fault of the boot, just big foot).

These are worth the money for the price. They are VERY comfy and have a tough-but-light sole. The suede is not great quality, but what do you expect for the price. The materials in general seem like pretty good quality, and they are not too heavy like many boots are. They're worth every penny!

Well made. Weight and height just right for a medium work boot. Steel toe appears to make the fit feel narrow - feels like the steel cup is narrower than the shoe.

I wear this shoe at work where I'm required to have steel toes. I bought a pair a year ago but they no longer carry this model. I found them on-line and ordered another pair for hiking! I like the feel and comfort. They are very durable.

I really like the fit of these boots, I have trouble finding steel-toed boots that are wide enough. These have enough room that my feet don't feel cramped but aren't too loose that I have to worry about rubbing a blister.

As I originally purchased this boot primarily for hiking my review may be a bit skewed. But as a work shoe these Brightons are surprisingly good. They really are as comfortable as some reviewers claim, plus they are almost as light as my high end hiking boots. Plus they grip a workshop floor as well as any work boot I've ever had. They do as well in the workshop as lawn work or a trip to the mall. They actually are capable of a non-strenuous day hike if you stick to a modest route. Their only real weakness is lack of grip on wet "natural" surfaces like rock and especially ice. Overall a great little work shoe with some nice hiking features.
