Nice Boots but There's a Rub

I like these boots but they rub my calves where there's a little handle on the side of the boot to pull the boot on. Actually they rub my calves so much that my calves started to bleed! That's not very good. I am going to try wearing super tall socks and that should solve the problem, I hope. The boots look good, and feel good except for the problem with rubbing.
Wears this shoe: For going out in the evening.

I wear an 11B. These boots were surprisingly comfortable from the first wear. They have garnered a number of compliments. They are not walking shoes.

I ordered these boots in black for a daughter who wears an unusually large shoe for a female. It seems as though western boots are a fashion statement for girls her age, and I was having trouble finding western boots to fit her in womens. She wanted to make a fashion statement, but I was looking for good, quality boots that would be good for her feet at a reasonable price. I wasn't disappointed. These are great looking boots and are very nice quality. They fit her right out of the box and required no break in time. She hasn't taken them off.

Men's Dan Post Boots Mignon R Toe

This is a good looking western boot with a leather sole which I need for horseback riding. The boot fits true to size, however, the heel is a little loose. As a 13B is a difficult size, I will but a heel pad in to try to adjust the fit.The boot designated as 'tan' is really a brown.
Wears this shoe: Casually and for horse back riding.

I ordered the men's Dan Post Boots Mignon boot in black to wear as dress boots at work. The boots fit perfectly right out of the box. They are really comfortable and did not need any time to break in. These are the best boots I have purchased in years.

I have been wearing Dan Post boots since the earl 80's. I have found sizing consistent with every pair I have ever purchased. As expected, the fit just like every other pair of Dan Post I have owned.For those of you that have never worn a Dan Post boot I can tell you, you will not find a more comfortable boot out of the box at any price. No "break in time" other than to step out on the side walk and scuff the souls (leather) some so they will not be so slick on carpet. Other than that, take them out, put them on, and wear them for hours.
