I bought this boot because I had a pair of Asolos that I loved and wore to pieces (literally, after 8 years I finally walked the soles off), and in the 6 previous years, I have tried out other brands and none of them have lived up to my expectations. This boot is the most comfortable one I've tried on in the last few years, is warm, cushioned, fits my foot, and was recommended by my other outdoor-minded friends. I admittedly had to look hard to find an Asolo boot, but this brand is worth the hunt.

This hiking boot has a great fit. It hugs your ankle nicely and has enough room for your toes so that they do not hit the front of the shoe when hiking downhill.

This is the best hiking boot I have ever purchased. This boot has great ankle support, totally waterproof and never hurts my feet even after hiking all day with a 40+ pound backpack. I highly recommend them!

I like these shoes because they run narrow, and I have incredibly narrow feet. I still think these are a little wide, but these are the best boots for women with narrow feet. They are very comfortable and require almost no break in. They are very supportive and I have almost no ankle and knee pain when I wear these. Normally my joints always ache after a hike, but these boots supported my soft joints.

Wow! Finally, a hiking boot that holds my narrow foot comfortably! I went for a 2 mile walk with these right out of the box and had no problems at all. The terrain was wet (we'd had a solid day of rain prior to this), but my feet stayed happy & dry. My boyfriend, who's a much more experienced outdoors enthusiast than I, was impressed when he saw my boots. Seems he's purchased several by this maker over the years. I'd recommend these boots without hesitation.

This boot fit well out of the box. So far I have taken it on a short hike on rocky terrain and the soles held fast. They offered the support of a backpacking boot without the bulkiness and weight. When summer comes I plan to take them on more challenging hikes around Mt. Rainier and Yosemite.

This shoe performs as I expected. It has the support for a hearty day hike without too much weight. I do have to wear a thicker sock than I prefer and worry that problem will worsen as I break the shoe in.

These are great boots. This is my second pair. They need a little breaking in as they are a stiff book, but they never gave me a blister even in the breaking in stage.

Needed a good hiker for daily walks with my dogs on our farm. We have trails through the woods, up & down the hills with low spots that collect water. I have been impressed by how dry these keep my feet. The fit is better than any boot I've had before, great ankle support. Would have liked a little more cushion in the sole and more arch support, may buy an insert.

I've had Asolo hiking boots before and literally wore them out, I used and loved them so much. These new boots will be great for an upcoming VT trip where we could experience any number of weather conditions. I'm positive my Asolo's will make me very happy with this first time shoebuy.com purchase.

Great Backpacking Boot

Wore them right out of the box on a 27 mile trek with 25 pounds on my back on very rocky terrain. No blisters! This is a very rugged and protective boot, yet still comfortable. I replaced the insole with superfeet for increased arch support.
