I have worn this particular New Balance for several years and am delighted with the shoe. First recommended by my physician, I had problems with my feetand in a few days of wearing this shoe, with it's support along the edges of the heel and foot, all tenderness was gone. I think this shoe was originally designed for the runner, I just live in them. I love this shoe, good support, good wear-ability.Highly recommend

I have fallen arches and a tricky ankle, so the stability and the roll bar are tremendous. I purchased my first pair of 587s about 8 years ago. I still have them, but they're (finally) worn down so I only wear around the house. I've bought other shoes, even shoes by NB, but nothing has ever topped the 587. Most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. Durable, light, cool in the summer. Amazing. I honestly don't know why they even bothered making a different model. They have acheived the apex.

the older I get the bigger my foot, a size 16 is hard to come by and this shoe is a great fit. Comfortable, and just what I need to run in 3 - 5 miles on blacktop, 3 times a week. When they wear out I'll still get mileage out of them as an everyday shoe. NB is a great shoe for my foot.

I bought these shoes for their anti-roll and durability features. I received them and have been walking in them for 1.5 months with great results. These shoes do not hurt my feet and actually feel great. I am 300 pounds and have yet to wear them down, although I have replaced the inserts to gels.My feet roll outwards, and these seem to correct that. I do recommend these shoes.

This is my regular shoe. As long as I change about every six months, it enables me to run about 15 miles a week. If I get pains in the knee, I change shoes. If I get pains in the bottom of the foot, I change the insole or change shoes.
Wears this shoe: every day. Non running days, I wear old pairs.

I like this shoe for running on a regular basis-five or six days a week. It has good support and I started running with comfort from the first day I had the shoe.
