The perfect work boot

I bought a pair of these boots 3 years ago for my boyfriend and not only were they comfortable for him, but they lasted 3 years, and for him that is saying something.

I like these boots. This is my second pair. They are truly waterproof and very comfortable. My last pair was used for work (carpentry) and they held up well.

My dad was looking for these boots in an 8.5W but could not find them. Dad was super thrilled when I told him Shoebuy had his size. All this with FREE delivery! What a bargain!!! He saved about $23 bucks and got the boots he needed.

I own 8 pairs of Timberland boots, this is the only one that is poorly sized, It's a great work shoe, but make sure you order a half size LARGER.

I bought this boot for occasional use in the snow. I have found that it has been great in many different ways. It has proven completely waterproof -- just yesterday I stepped into a body of water at least 6 inches deep and nothing penetrated. These boots are quite warm, too. I have shoveled snow for 2 hours without getting cold feet. I have also spent 2 hours riding inner tubes at a tubing park -- in complete comfort. I highly recommend these boots for wintertime outdoor activities.

I'm really enjoying these Timberland boots - they fit my feet well, are warm and have good arch support. No problems at all with moisture - their waterproof construction works well. They look good as well.

My favorite boots

Let me begin by saying the only negative things I can say about these boots: they don't have a pull strap in the back, and the cuff is so soft, I feel I must unlace these further than my other boots for fear that I will eventually rip or wear a hole in the thick soft cuff. And, nothing to do with the boots' features or quality, I bought two pair and both are quite darker than shown in the pics, being a dark brown rather than a reddish brown. Besides that, there are no more complaints. They are comfortable and the thick soft cuff I mentioned above as well as the removable insert help to make it a pleasant shoe I can wear all day long. I bought them for their looks and reputation--I am a docent at my local zoo and a Steve Irwin fan, and he and many of his crew wore Timberland boots every day and in many different climates and had a lot of praise for them. I also wear these as hiking boots and the clean pair for an everyday shoe whenever I am not dressed up for a special occasion. I've worn them in 18 degree weather with wind chills in the single digits for hours with only one pair of tube socks on, and they kept my feet warm. They've been in freezing rain and deep snow, soaked to the touch and kept my feet warm without a bit of moisture seeping in. I haven't worn these in the heat of summer yet, but I'd bet the insulation may make them too uncomfortable. However, that would be a consideration with any boot with insulation.

After endlessly scouring Timberland and other shoe stores for the past few years, I had been unable to secure a wide size 15 boot. I couldn't even find what I needed on Timberland's website.Thank goodness for Shoebuy.com. I have no complaints about the purchasing process, or the shoe. It fits a little bigger than the size says, which makes for a comfortable fit and is perfect for wearing different types of socks.I am completely satisfied!

I wore this shoe for the fall and winter months. I work for an airline and the ramp is a very tough and abusive area. This boot lasted for eight years and I still have a sole left on it. I could probably get another season out of them, but I want a new pair before they are gone. This is a must buy!
