This shoe was exactly what I wanted, a confortable athletic shoe in black. For some reason, most Avia shoes seem to fit me better than other brands and this pair was no exception.

I bought a men's size 8 (I usually wear a women's size 10) which is normally wide enough for me. This pair seems very narrow in the front and pinches my little toes. The look of the shoe is nice, and other than pinching feel and fit well. I'll probably give these to my Mom who has a more narrow foot, and try some other style.

Very happy with my purchase. My shoes arrived immediately. The first thing I noticed was that the tip of the shoe right before the toes begin is snug, so it pushes on both sides of my feet (and I ordered the wide). I'm hoping it stretches after a few walks. Other than that its a comfortable shoe. Noticeable cushion on heel almost feels bouncy. Very nice shoe.

Wear, wear again. This felt uncomfortable the first day or two, felt narrower than my foot. Since then it has been very comfortable. The thing in the heel (cantilever) was weird at first, but I don't notice it now.

I got these for my husband who has wide feet and wears shoes out fast. I always search by his size first and then price, I have had luck with Avia's in the past for myself but my husband has never had a pair. I got him the white and navy in 12W, he wears them to the gym several times a week and has not had any complaints.
