I'm sad that today I'm ordering the last size that this shoe is made in -- size 8. I can tell you that I've gone through every size since size 5. It's a great shoe. Easy to put on... My son loves them and appears to be comfy... And they look great with both shorts and pants.

I first bought a pair of these in early Spring for my 18mo old son. I loved them so much (and they held up so well) that I bought another pair when he out grew the first ones! They are made very well and are so flexible and soft. We never had the problem of them rubbing his feet the way some cheaper shoes have. I will probably get another pair next spring!

As far as looks the shoe looked the same way it did in the Stride Rite store but when I tried it on my son it seemed too small and not wide enough I thought it would still be ok but it wasn't he only got to wear it twice. I was going to send it back right away but I didn't see the free postage return that was supposed to be sent with the order so I didn't.

I needed a pair of summer sandals for my two-year old that would look good dressed up with a pair of linen pants and also dressed down with shorts and t-shirt. These are beautiful shoes -- the color is a deep, dark brown, and the blue stripe on the front gives them just enough "sport". I only buy closed-two sandals for my young ones because I feel better knowing their little toes are protected. My son wore them all day and never complained at all. You can never go wrong with Stride Rite shoes for young kids. They are simply the best quality for the money!

We loved these so much for my son last summer that we bought the exact pair this summer. We consider these as his "dress sandals" - if there is such a thing - wearing them when we go out to dinner/lunch/breakfast or go to grandmas or shopping. They are too nice for everyday play and will scuff up immediately. The good news, though, should he wear them at play (who knows when a playground will strike?!?!) is that because they are leather, a good shoe polishing brings them back to life!

For looks and quality, these sandals are just great. My 3 year old son looks so handsome in them. I love that he can play in them and his toes are a little more protected than in other sandals. They look great for church, too. My only comment is that they seem a little big. This isn't a huge problem--better big than small!--and he's gotten used to walking in them now, but they're still a bit loose around the ankle. On the other hand, I don't have to worry that he'll outgrow them before summer is out.
