Men's Sperry Top-Sider Beach Runner are true to size and offer a light weight slip on that is good for the beach or fresh water use near streams. I am very pleased with my beach runners.

These water socks are pretty cool. The soles aren't super-thick so you can't really call them water shoes. I got them becuase I wanted something in orange and this was about all I could find. All in all they are a good deal, and I would probably buy them again if I needed something like this. I think that I would prefer a shoe type style with a heavier sole for the river though.

I bought this shoe because I'm a fan of Sperry Topsider boat shoes which I wear almost every day. We went on a Caribbean cruise vacation and I wore these water shoes a lot - beaches, boating, on slippery waterfall rocks, etc. Usual Sperry quality.

Wore these for a canoe trip. Had to get out and portage the canoes over shells and through muck and these guys held up wonderfully--very, very comfortable and great soles. Highly recommended. If they can handle that, then the beach is a no-brainer.

It would be a good idea to eliminate the gray stripe made of different material. Shoe would fit better on a large foot, since it would become more flexible.

It fit as advertised. It may have been a bit loose around the top edges and that's why I got so much sand in them as I walked in the surf. That was annoying, plus the sand caused a hole to wear in my heel. I found it best to let the shoes dry first, take the innersole out and then dump out the sand. They dried quite fast in the sun. They did the job and I'm glad I had them.

This shoe is exactely what I was looking for in a water shoe. It's simple, comfortable and inexpensive. I wear it sailing, then jump into the dingy, then onto the beach and rocks and it's as comfortable as just wearing socks. The sole is very grippy on a wet deck, much more so than the Teva water shoes (at twice the price) that felt "greasy" on a wet deck. I've tried Teva, Rugged Shark, Timberland, and the Sperry Beach Runner is by far the best.

I bought the shoe for my husband who has a small foot, size 7 and he loves them. He'll wear them on the beach and in the water. Haven't worn them yet but they look solid.

Bought these for my son's very large feet. He said they were comfortable. They look very spiffy and he had no problems going from water to indoors in them, really nice solid soles.

The fit was good, pretty snug, not tight. My size 12 shoes are usually a little loose since sometimes i wear 2 socks, but this shoe was snug with no socks, which seems proper. Comfort is good, traction seems awesome, and as expected not much cushioning, but unless you are running a 10k race, i think it will be alright.
