Reviewer: Myrna from Gregory,S.D. Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I put these shoes on the day they came & have worn them every since. They are wonderful.Helped my heel pain. Wears this shoe: all the time Reviewer: Tennis Nut from Rhode Island Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width This sneaker is a bit heavy but the only one that will accommodate orthotics with lifts and protect your ankle at the same time. This is the first tennis sneaker I have been able to wear with my orthotics -- and with a brace I am having to use temporarily as a result of a bone fracture suffered on the court-- and it offers terrific support. My injury would have been much worse if I'd been wearing different sneakers! Wears this shoe: always on the tennis court Reviewer: Samantha from Boston, Massachusetts Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I expected these to be incredibly comfortable sneakers, but I did not quite end up with that. Unfortunately, they fit awkwardly and rub my ankles when I walk. Perhaps I just need to break them in more, but right now I can only bear to wear them for very short periods of time. My use is mainly tennis Hard Tru surfaces. I sprained/tore ligaments and tendons in my ankle and was in a cast for three weeks. Six weeks later with the confidence and support of this shoe I have been injury free and moving with great mobility.I would highly recommend for those who are ankle injury prone or with weak ankles. I like the way this fits around my ankle, a little higher than most tennis shoes. Having had ankle surgery a few years ago, this added padding around the ankle gives me more support. Wears this shoe: Strickly for tennis 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: Reviewer: Jacki Hogan-Scola from Miami, FL Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width This is the first high-top I have ever used. I wanted extra support as I sprint and move side-to-side a lot on the court. I had great foot pain, probably plantar facsitis, before purchasing this shoe. It has completely resolved with the new shoe. I find the K-Swiss I have tried to have fabulous support; this one is no different. The real test will be in the summer in warmer weather. For now, I'm thrilled with the fit and wear them to play tennis only, on clay only, about 3-4 times a week.
