I bought this shoe because of the reviews online. I had been wearing a running shoe to my kick-boxing and step aerobics classes. The stability in the Intensity is excellent. It is an attractive shoe and the soles are good for the gym floors - good grip without sticking too much.The only complaint I have is the ankle. There is some slippage. The first time I wore them I had to stop occasionally and pull up my socks that had rolled down into the shoe. I have changed the type of socks I wear to fix that problem.Also, definitely order a half size larger. Although I wear a 9, the 9.5 fit.

I bought this shoe in a 9 1/2 M because I wear a 9 wide (for the forefoot area, but not the heel). This shoe fit me just like it is described! It is made especially for women-wider in the forefoot and narrower in the heel! It also gives GREAT support for my Groove class which is a lot of side steps, leaps, and lunges!

I decided to order my true size in this shoe, as Ryka usually seems to run a half size small, and was pleasantly surprised that it fit perfectly. The wide toe bed fits comfortably and the heel offers plenty of support for twisting and rolling movements when Jazzercising! The only thing I wish Ryka would change is their tendency to use such long shoestrings. Overall, I have found this shoe very comfortable and will continue to stay with Ryka in the future. Five stars all the way!
