Frustrated. March 05, 2013

These shoes are touted as outdoor shoes, for hiking etc. Yet they have built in holes in the bottom of them to allow water to come up from under the shoe. So if you're using these shoes to go hiking and you're wearing socks (I don't know a hiker how doesn't) then your socks become instantly wet and take awhile to dry. There's no notification on this website or the manufacturer's stating there are holes in the shoes. I found out this lovely info while on a day hike on 40 degree weather. Socks got wet from walking on the ground (no creek or puddle involved) and my feet were numb within minutes. Fast drying materials is one thing, having holes in the bottom of your shoes are another. And if they're supposed to e drain holes (that's laughable, I have boots that don't have drain holes) then market them as a simple water shoe (I also have water shoes without drain holes) instead of a hiking/outdoor type of shoe.

Great water shoe February 11, 2013

I wear a women's 11 and purchased the men's size 10. The fit was a little boxy, but that was to be expected from a men size. I have had foot surgery and needed a shoe I could wear in the water/beach and still wear my orthotics. This worked out great. The shoe has great traction and a thick sole, but drains the water very quickly. They do stay wet for a while, which cause rub spots between my toes. Overall, this was a great water shoe.

Lots of support! September 26, 2012

I really like this shoe because it does offer lots of support. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I need the support. They accommodate my orthotics easily. I am female and bought a men's shoe hoping for more toe room, i.e. a more rounded toe. I wish the toe was a little more rounded. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with these shoes.
