These are THE MOST comfortable shoes I have ever warn. As a former deputy sheriff working in the road and at the jail on hard surfaces for long periods of time my feet thanked me for the comfort. The wide tread made walking in dirt and stone environments easy because stone didn't stay in the tread.

I bought these for my son who had seen them on line as a Christmas gift. At first he said "they are a lot 'blacker' than I thought." As he inspected them though, he began to warm up to them and he has worn them with much satisfaction since Christmas 08.
Wears this shoe: Walking around in Charleston. Playing band gigs.
