This is the only work shoe I will ever wear. This has got to be my 10th pair, because I've bought a couple pair of this in the non-steel toe version. I have wide feet and other manufacturer's definition of wide (Danner, Wolverine) must be different from Rocky because they are laughably tight compared to this boot. Unbelievable wiggle room for my toes. The waterproofing is an added bonus. I live in the tropics so these boots are always getting wet/dry wet/dry. I replace them about every year and they have never leaked. About the only thing I don't like about this boot, and this is a very minor detail, is that the toe cap leather gets beat up really fast. I don't know if it's the frequent kneeling or squatting that I do in my line of work but again this is just a cosmetic issue. At work the only issue that matters is comfort and safety and these boots perform flawlessly.Also if you work in muddy conditions, this boot does not have an agressive enough tread pattern to prevent mud build-up. But it does fine on wet concrete.

This is the fourth pair of this particular boot I have purchased in the past four years and I have found it to be the best boot for my job. I haul fuel for a living, and this boot stands up to petroleum better than any other boot I have tried. It is lightweight, so my feet and legs don't get tired when I am on my feet for twelve to fourteen hours a day. I hope that this style of boot is around for years to come. I have tried Red Wing and other brands, but for comfort and durability there is no comparison. I highly recommend this brand of boot for the working man or woman. Thank you, Rocky - I hope to do business again.

It's taking me a while to get used to the wider toe area, which is kind of nice actually, and it may not be the best looking boot I've ever had...but it's sturdy, way comfortable, and stays dry. Only complaint is the extra-long shoelaces, but until I get shorter ones I wrap it once around the rear and then tie; works. Good and well made boot, I'm pleased.
Wears this shoe: Outdoors...cutting/splitting wood, etc.
