Work boots to enjoy.
By Tim, from New Zealand | April 19, 2013
I live in New Zealand and rely on previous purchases to choose my sizing. It is a long way to return a wrong choice. These boots could probably have been a half size larger as previous Rockport boots seem to have been more generous sizing. However with wearing they are much better. I love them. One suggestion would be to have quick release hooks for the laces.

Unable to return
By Kathy, from Maryland | February 23, 2013
Quality made work boot, but thick stitching attaching tongue to the boot wore the skin off husband's foot in one day. Shoebuy would allow return because he had worn them. Shoebuy claims that isn't a defect, so we wasted a lot of money to try a pair of work shoes.

My third pair!
By Rich, from Finger Lakes | April 16, 2012
I can do more with these boots. I can work longer and in great comfort. The steel toe is unnoticed in cold weather other than feeling safe.

They are nice and light. They are more comfortable than Timberlands.

Best work boot ever worn
By Dan, from Eastern Shore of Virginia | December 21, 2010
23 1/2 hrs. in a single day on food processing plant construction project. FEET DID NOT HURT. OTHERS HAVE KILLED MY FEET AFTER NORMAL 12 HR. DAYS. I will wear no other work shoe ever. This pair has lasted 10 months and been wore 6-7 days a week....Still not worn out.

Greatest hiking boot ever.
By Jim, from Phoenix, Arizona | October 01, 2010
I've used the "works", without the steel toe, for hiking for the last five years. They are rugged and I've put them through a lot of abuse. The tread holds amazingly, even on wet rocky terrain. The rigid perimeter lets you catch on even narrowest rocky edges. On top of that they are very comfortable and my feet don't hurt after 3-4 hours of hiking like many other boots I've tried.

Rock-afella

I brought these rockports because they are and always have been identified by comfort and style. I tried the boots on and was a little disappointed with the feel. I have a narrow foot so they felt a little to floppy when I walk. I guess they come a little wider than what they look like on the website. I wasn't going to waste my money so I took some soles out of my other boots and that made up some difference. Other than that small adjustment, I like the way they look. Rugged yet refined, kinda like me!
