Prom describes a type of footwear specially designed for prom night. Prom shoe styles vary widely in design and color, and their different styles can be chosen depending on the prom gown they are meant to complement. Still, the most common prom styles are generally ankle straps and slingback sandals with medium to high heels with shinny uppers or decorated with sparkling ornaments. Low heel thong sandals decorated with sparkling rhinestones are also a popular choice.
Rockport Editorial Offices Cap Toe A little stiff

I always bought Rockport because the shoe is light, fit my wide foot well, and the leather was supple yet supportive. This time the shoe is stiff. And it is not breaking in well. The fit is true, but the shoe doesn't "give" the way I have become accustomed to Rockport. While light, it doesn't feel as cushioned as I am used to with my other Rockport dressport type shoes.

Bought these for my adult son who needed them to attend a trade show. We walked around for 10 hours and he found them to be very comfortable with great cushion on the concrete floors. The color was a rich caramel, classic yet current. They looked great and were roomy enough in width to accommodate a medium weight sock.

I have been wearing H.S. Trasks for years with Kakhis. I am not sure what happened, but Trask quality went down and price went up. I was looking for an alternative and stumbled onto the Rockport Editorial Office. They are more comfortable than any pair of Trasks I have owned. They clean-up quickly and nicely with a little leather creme. My only observation is they wear out more quickly than the Trask. This is my third pair in two years, but I wear them almost everyday.
