The sole makes the Perth model superior to all other boat shoes . But, find the 2-eye uppers only average compared to the excellent 3-eye waxed brown full grain with this exact sole that came from Brazil a few years back. For heavier guys the 2-eye upper tends to get out of shape, worn out looking much faster than above 3-eye from Brazil when the shoes are worn day to day as casual wear. The 2-eye model is easier to slip on.Don't understand the on and off again availablity given the huge popularity of the Perth model? . Also the maple full grain model was not offered this time?Bottom line--keep the hot selling standard Perth 2-eye for sale year round! Run the 3-eye and maple models from time to time.

The previous pair of Rockport boat shoes I owned were of the highest quality and workmanship and lasted me over ten years. I could not find this boat shoe at any of the outlet malls or retail stores. Also, the Rockport online store did not carry this boat shoe. Thank you for keeping this classic Rockport boat shoe as part of your inventory.

This is a great shoe for boating and around town. I wear these every day for all sorts of activities. I generally cycle them out every 2 years and then they become work yard shoes. Love 'em!
