The main fault with the boot is that is not the boot I intended to order. Somehow I must've changed my order from the Rockport Zenacity Boot to the Peakview Boot. Just the same as a Rockport owner & wearer for over 20 years I realize how inconsistent their quality is/has been for the past decade.I love the Walkability aspect of a shoe & most prefer it. I've had the Peakview boots for 3 months of a light winter. Despite their appearance & emphasis on ruggedness, they scuff easily deeply.Rockport remains my favorite shoe maker. I just resoled some 15+ old oxfords I will seen how this boot wears. Normally I would expect 5-10 years out of a seasonal boot like this. I give these 2-3 years at most.

I wanted a casual boot shoe for winter wear and spent lots of time searching/researching for the "right" shoe. I found and chose the Peakview because of style and the Rockport name. I have owned and enjoyed Rockports for many years. They are most comfortable and fit my small narrow feet well. I have yet to wear the shoes but have tried them on and find them to be what I expected - perfect fitting and comfortable. There was one issue I tried resolving on my own instead of returning the shoes for another pair. On one shoe there was a small area of the leather that didn't get polished/stained. For now, it may be ok, I hope.
Wears this shoe: I use it for winter casual wear.
