Smooth styled, plain toe oxford is just right for office wear or anywhere. Leather-lined tongues and collar are padded for comfort. Dual-density PU outsole provides flexibility and long wear. The sturdy steel shank provides extra support.

Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

Background: My benchmark is the Florsheim Imperial - not fair but that is a "5"Rockport Size: I am a 12 Narrow. It is a 12 but a bit loose especially in the instep. I have them tied tight and they are a tad loose. No bad but not perfect.As noted by others, they are stiff. Even after wearing for a couple weeks, the leather remains stiff. The sole is reasonably cushioned. However, the insole is marginal. I used an insole from another shoe.Shine: They don't take a great shine but they are OK.The heal box is quite good - firm and you feel solid in the heal.Look: A bit boxy in the toe. Good for fit but somewhat square.A bit hot to wear (I am in Minnesota in the winter!).I have a pair of Dunhams purchased from Shoebuy (of course!). I prefer them significantly over the Rockport. I would recommend them first.

I live in the UK and need extra wide fitting shoes. These Rockport Margin extra wide fit the bill. They are smart from the outside, roomy on the inside and have very smooth leather lined inner and rear section that help the foot to slide inside. There is also a slightly padded surround to the ankle that helps for comfort. These would be just the type of shoe that could be used in smart casual or formal occasions. Well Done!
Wears this shoe: Either at the office or in town with smart clothing
