The Penny Loafer from Rockport's Jackie Collection features a construction that is durable and easy to clean, extending product life, and novelty leathers that provide fashion styling. Adidas adiPRENE® highly shock-absorbent cushioning protects the heel at impact, while adidas adiPRENE®+ resilient and flexible forefoot cushioning provides a responsive, dynamic push-off. Breathable polyurethane moisture-absorbent and odor-resistant cushioning helps keep foot dry and comfortable, while the rubber outsole provides a durable grip on a variety of surfaces. It has taken a while to feel comfortable in this shoe. Rockport was recommended by my doctor for plantar fasciitis, so I was disappointed by the structure of the sole. The back of the shoe is hard and was digging into the back of my foot. I thought the sole would have more cushion. BUT as time has passed, the shoes are feeling more comfortable and I think they will work out.
