First time worn with socks - super comfy. First time worn without socks - rubbed the top inside of my foot. Note no lateral support, found myself rolling my foot outward A couple of times when I was not being careful. This i find more concerning than the lack of instep support, just be aware. Makes the foot appear long and narrow, A slightly old-ladyish look but A small sacrifice to make for A super comfortable casual shoe.
