Product Description (Men's Rockport Encounter)

Padded collar and tongue help prevent blisters and lace bruising along with the heel pad which provides additional underfoot cushioning. Dynamic suspension DMX on the bottom of the footbed provides dynamic air cushioning and sensation. The CMEVA midsole provides lightweight resilient cushioning for reducing foot and leg fatigue. The full grain leather upper and PlayDry lining make the shoe easy to clean and maintain and keeps the foot dry.

Fit: This style tends to run wide. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

The shoes are comfortable to wear, but I do wish they had more cushioning. I have flat feet and I need plenty of cushioning to help my feet. I have 2 pair of these, and I do like them. I am just very hard to fit!

My son needed a pair of dress shoes, but I knew they had to be comfortable and durable. These fit the bill to a tee. He loves them and actually enjoys wearing them.

I've got Type II Diabetes. The Rockport Encounter shoes are diabetic friendly shoes. They are the most comfortable shoe that I've owned. I've had problems with my toes and some numbness in my feet from the diabetes. These shoes have helped to greatly improve the condition of my feet. I don't know if they will help everybody but they sure helped me. I'll be buying these shoes over and over. Thanks Rockport !

I was very pleased with these shoes. The fit was true to size compared with what I was expecting. I have worn Rockport shoes for years and have always been pleased...this is no exception.
