I am a type 1 diabetic and in turn I ordered the Rockport Eastbourne through ShoeBuy because they are not available in Australia. Although they were advitised as very comfortable, I found them very uncomfortable. The leather on the sides and back is very hard and cuts in to ones heel and ankle.The sizing is totaly incorrect and my feet feel as if they are suffocating .I tried to wear them in but after 1 weeks I gave up and swore I'd never buy shoes without tring them on first. I thought I could rely on the Rockport Brand name.My disapointment is not with ShoeBuy, I thought your price, delivery and comunication was exellent. My problem is with the Shoe itself, I have some other Rockports which are great and the same size US8.5. I thought by ordering the same size there would have been some consistancy.

The back of the shoe cuts into your ankles. In the first 15 minutes I wore the shoes, I developed a blister on the back of my right ankle, and my left ankle developed a red heat sore. I was wearing casual long socks. Maybe your foot is shaped differently than mine, but this is the first time I've ever had this issue with a shoe.
