I felt the leather was a little stiff at first. Once broken in, which took about three weeks, the shoes are very comfortable. I feel they ran slightly smaller than other Rockport styles I've had in the past. Now that they're broken in I feel they fit fine. The only thing is that I don't feel there is any "extra" room to put inserts in as I am used to with the other styles I've had in the past.

The shoes cut into the achilles tendon in a very painful way. They also caused a massive blister at the base of my big toe. Very disappointing for a shoe that is suppposed to be comfortable! I wish I could return them.
