I've been buying Rockport Prowalker for over 15 years for my primary shoe. The Prowalker 7100 is similar to the ones I've previously purchased. However, there is something different, there is no Rockport marking on the heel, and the name on the tongue is very faint. There is the Rockport name on the soul and the inside cushion insert. These are first prowalker that I've seen made in Vietnam. What I question, is the shoe made only for Rockport or also for the large number of copy cats brand names that have imitated the Prowalker shoe? If this true why should I buy a Rockport brand shoe?
Wears this shoe: I wear Rockport 95% of the time (haven't started using this pair).

Very good shoe. Comfortable as soon as I put them on. I'm on my feet all day and they do what I expected them to do. This is the first walking shoe I bought from Rockport and it won't be my last.

I ordered this particular shoe because it looked the most similar to my husband's old worn out work shoes. Even though the style was not a total match, he likes the lighter weight shoe for the summer months. His ankle is no longer hurting at the end of the day (no wonder) and the support is good.

There is no break-in period with these shoes, and in black, they hardly look like sneakers. Every April, when the snow melts, I break out a new pair from my closet. I finally went through all the old pairs and threw out all but three. One looks great for everyday use; one is for mowing the lawn; and one is for canoeing and other messy times. They are totally comfortable at a great price.
