They are very cute shoes and I was so looking forward to wearing them for many purposes. When I put my foot into the left shoe, it was immediately uncomfortable. It is as if the footbed is too narrow, although a wide size. I could not wear them and I am returning them.

At first, I thought these were too small. But I walked around the house in them for a few minutes and realized the tightness was up around the toe area where my toes meet my foot, on the sides. I was going to exchange the 7.5 for an 8 but then thought then the length would be too long. I noticed this shoe comes in a wide width. Generally I do not need a wide width shoe. All my other shoes are average or medium width. I opted for the 7.5W and they are much better fitting now around the toe and side of my toes. The length of the shoe is perfect. The 8M would have been too long and I bet the width would still have felt cramped. Consider the wide width on these. I like the material. It's soft leather like feel. It does not look cheap or plasticy like some ballet flats. I love a point on a ballet shoe to lengthen my shorter legs. These are a great pair for wear with jeans, work pants or even a simple dress paired with tights. Very happy with these and sure they will be a wardrobe staple.
