Product Description (Infant/Toddler Girls' Rileyroos Mary Jane)
Our spin on the classic Mary Jane. Designed to imitate barefoot walking, these shoes have a flexible leather sole with rubber padding to protect little feet.
The sole curls above little toes to provide leverage as little ones make their natural gravitation from sitting to crawling to walking.
These shoes are super soft and lightweight they have padded leather collars for added comfort, with a hook-and-loop closure for a secure fit and easy on and off.
Fit: This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

Huge difference in sizing February 02, 2012

I love the look, the quality, and almost everything about this shoe, but the sizes are terrible. I originally ordered a M based on the sizing charts, but after getting the shoes they were WAY too big - nearly an inch and a half. I exchanged the shoes for a S, and they are barely big enough. If my daughter didn't need brown shoes right now I'd exchange them again for the larger size so they would last longer. They would be perfect if there was a size in between a M and S.

I absolutely love these little mary janes. I bought them for my 15 month old daughter. They look adorable, and are also very well made. They are durable enough to wear outside, but soft, flexible & comfortable enough for her to wear them all day inside as well. I may have to buy another pair!

I am buying a second pair because these are great for the beginner walker. My 14mo old just stopped wearing the 3-6 month shoes so i am buying the 6-12 if that tells you anything about size and she is an average size child. The shoes are worth the buy!

They very soft, comfortable and nice looking shoes. The only problem we had was the fact that our 12 month daughter would walk putting most of the pressure on the inner side of the sole. We are not sure whether it is our daughter's way of walking or the rubber padding making it possible. They may be too soft. We are not sure. She still wears them, because they are best of what we have right now.
