This sport sandal is great for the on-the-go tike. The Dakota keeps your little one's feet cool and free to breathe while still adding that much needed protection for whatever endeavors they may get into while at the swim club, beach, backyard or wooded adventure. Designed to imitate barefoot walking, these shoes have a flexible rubber padded sole to protect little feet. The sole curls above little toes to provide leverage as little ones make their natural gravitation from sitting to crawling to walking. Handcrafted with high quality, durable leather and mesh uppers and complimentary grosgrain ribbon straps offer super soft and lightweight construction. They feature Dual Velcro closure for secure fit and easy on and off, flexible and form-fitting leather outsoles with accent and colored rubber padding.

Good long lasting shoe for a growing baby June 22, 2011

Overall great shoes for everyday wear. It is quick and easy to put on a squirmy baby. My only complaint is that the shoe seems too wide for my 12 month old. The Velcro has reached it's tightest and still slips off on occasion. These shoes are definitely perfect for babies with wider feet.

My toddler wears these without socks as a cooler alternative to sneakers and loves them. They enable him to move freely and easily and are light.

Coming apart after one wear April 26, 2010

I have to say these shoes are adorable, but after one day of wearing the shoes for about 3-4 hours one of the straps is coming apart along with some of the white stitching. My son is 1 year old and he does like to kick his feet, but I was surprised at how these are coming apart after one wear.

I have had the hardest time finding nice shoes for a reasonable price. I saw the Rileyroos in a Baby Boutique but due to where I live it is very challenging finding the right size and right price. I googled the Rileyroos and came upon Shoebuy.com. I was so excited to find the right size for a great deal. I will definetly purchase shoes from here in the future for the whole family.

Riley Roos are the best! This is the 2nd pair we've had, and our 14 month walker/runner loves them! They may be expensive, but they last and last, and are WELL worth the money. I wish I'd had them for my 11 year old when he was a toddler!
