This sandal is great for running on the playground or taking a stroll along the beach. The Chessie is designed to fit little feet just right and keep them cool in warmer temperatures. Designed to imitate barefoot walking, these shoes have a flexible leather sole with rubber padding to protect little feet. The sole curls above little toes to provide leverage as little ones make their natural gravitation from sitting to crawling to walking. Handcrafted with high quality, durable leather uppers with white offset stitching these shoes are super soft and lightweight, feature padded leather collars for added comfort, T-strap closure for secure fit and easy on and off, leather linings for breathability and a flexible and form-fitting leather outsoles with rubber padding.

I love the style of the shoe and it's very cute but unfortunately it fits too wide for my daughter's feet and are always falling off. I recommend trying them on in a store before purchasing.

I can't say enough about these shoes. Walking became my daughter's main mode of transportation right when she turned 14 months, which was in May. I wanted a sandal that was soft, flexible, but that also provided support and coverage of her foot. These are completely perfect, and super cute too.

I bought this shoe in 12-18 mo for my son. He hated shoes at that time, but put this one one in the store and never took them off. I bought the next size for him 18-24 mo and he lives in those now. This shoe is so amazing I bought it in every size and color for kids I don't even have yet! I just want to make sure I have them when I need them. I gave his 1st pair to a friend for her baby and her baby lived in them until finally a whole developed from crawling and learning how to walk in them. So they don't last forever but they were so worth it!
