This sandal is great for running on the playground or taking a stroll along the beach. The Chessie is designed to fit little feet just right and keep them cool in warmer temperatures. Designed to imitate barefoot walking, these shoes have a flexible leather sole with rubber padding to protect little feet. The sole curls above little toes to provide leverage as little ones make their natural gravitation from sitting to crawling to walking. Handcrafted with high quality, durable leather uppers with white offset stitching these shoes are super soft and lightweight, feature padded leather collars for added comfort, T-strap closure for secure fit and easy on and off, leather linings for breathability and a flexible and form-fitting leather outsoles with rubber padding.

We love this shoe for our son with wider feet. I ordered up a size where it would be nice and roomy for him. We bought both the navy and chocolate 4 years ago, and lost a navy shoe recently. I was quick to replace it, and the quality is still there! We love our RileyRoos!!!! This is our 4th pair of them.

These are the second pair of Rileyroos I have bought and my son loves them his PT/OT therapist recommend them now to others because they are helping my son learn how to walk!! I am grateful finding a shoe like this!!! I do wish they were a little cheaper BUT they work!!

I got this for my 18 month old chubby feet baby and absolutely love them. It is so easy to put on which is a plus, we had some unsuccessful attempts with the Pidaped sandals because they are very narrow and difficult to get his feet in. This shoe has Velcro in both sides making it very easy to put on. He loves his new shoes.

This was my first Rileyroos purchase and I chose them because they could go with any outfit, were reasonably priced for leather shoes, and because they have a flexible sole for my 16 month old. I was going to order the 18-24 month size, but double checked with the sizing chart and it indicated 12-18 months. I had to exchange those, so if your child is borderline, order up. The turned up toe took a little getting used to, but now my son easily walks and runs in them. The leather is very durable, and the chocolate brown has not scuffed at all at the toe. The rubber inserts on the sole nice, yet they are still very flexible.
