I bought these boots for my daughter in brown. She normally wears an 8.5M and I ordered the 39. They fit great and are comfortable. They look great under jeans or over skinny jeans. Also, with tights and a dress/skirt or bare-legged. The leather is of good quality and the craftmanship is superb. I hope she gets many years' use out of them!

I spent a lot of time researching for a good, quality pair of boots that would service both in functionality and style. Although they don't have as high a heel as I would've preferred, they are extremely comfortable and required no 'break in' time. The leather is soft and supple.I would definitely recommend these boots, especially if you are a mom looking for something that's 'with the times', but practical for grocery shopping and other outings that require long amounts of time on your feet.

You don't need to break in the calf area of this boot at all-- the leather looks very nice but is extremely stretchy and comfortable immediately. The metal fittings don't show up nearly as clearly as they do in the pictures.Although technically the shaft of this boot is higher than most other Rieker boots, the square toe causes it to look a bit shorter and gives the boot more of a chunky, stable feel over-all. If you're looking for a sleek and leg-lengthening boot this isn't it; however it's a great choice if you want something a bit more industrial or bulky.

I love these boots! Right out of the box, they felt comfortable and soft, and they've been even more so as I've worn them around. They don't feel stiff at all around the ankles, and are really great to walk in for long periods of time. The size feels pretty true to form, too, which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely get these boots again in a heartbeat.
