These are basically whole sizes that include the next 1/2 size up. So the 38 is actually a 7 and a 7 1/2. If you're a true 7 1/2 the shoe will fit more snuggly although still quite comfortably and there is a removable insole. If you wear a 7 there will be a little more room and actually may require socks with a little more thickness than say thin stockings or tights. But the shoe fits like it was manufactured individually for your foot. It provides amazing arch support and feels great if you have flat feet. The soft leather glides on and makes it comfortable to wear everywhere all day long.

I have issues with my left foot (severed the tendons and nerves in it) therefor I find it hard to find shoes. I put these on in the morning and don't have any discomfort through out the evening. I'm 28 so I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes that don't look like something my grandmother would wear. These are easy to get on and very comfortable.

I truly love this shoe. I saw it in DC but they didn't have my size so I searched the internet until I found it. Extremely functional, can be dressed up or down and is comfortable.
